Headshot Photography was formed by Joeri Swerts in march 2009 and is based at Hasselt, Belgium.
I started with a standard Nikon D40 to capture the normal life. Some friends inspired me by taking such beautiful pictures that after a while I started photographing almost everything around me. One of my first shows I photographed with this Nikon was El Guapo Stuntteam at the Muziekodroom(Hasselt). As soon when they told me that I could photograph their last show ever in Trix (Antwerp), I knew that this was it. So I started with concert-photography. Thank you El Guapo Stuntteam!
Nowadays I photograph with a Nikon D300s, Nikkor 35mm 1.8, Nikkor 105mm 2.8 VRII + macro, Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 VRII, Nikkor fisheye 10.5mm 2.8, Tamron 17-50mm 2.8, Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6, Lensbaby 2.0, Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6, Nikon speedlight SB-25 x2, Yongnuo speedlite YN460 and I also often make some small videos with a RODE videomic.
Because I’m an amateur-photographer and I still need to learn a lot, I work as a freelancer, so feel free to contact me for anything you want. Also my slogan fits best in this; Headshot photography, capture everything!
